the 2 of them are so basic its unreal

jab jab right hand very slowly...repeat x100 and thats all they do

no way they live with the 70s 80s 90s - bowe lewis holyfield

Ali would really bother Vitali with his footwork but I don't think Ali would have the success with his jab he was accustomed to given Vitali's awkward Euro defense.

It would be a good fight.

    Nice post :good

I agree, too many people here are living in the past when it comes to boxing (and all sports). I do understand why, it's human nature after all to have a more favorable opinion about times past, this has been scientifically proven to be true. However, many of you guys need to recognize that is what's going on, and account for that in your opinions.

Yeah because if can get a UD over Kevin Johnson, theres no topping that.

    GOAT status for sure!:-(

Based on his size and skills of course.
Frazier: vitali stops him, he fights on the backfoot letting his hands go while leaning back. with 9 inches in height and 7 in reach, frazier wont make it to the final bell.

Foreman:this one is closer but I would take vitali because foreman only has power on him, I take vitali but foreman has a good chance.

Holyfield: skilled technical big man, holyfield got beat by bigger guys like bowe and lewis, vitali will give him troubles, evander is a great fighter but he loses a ud12.

Wlad: prime for prime vitali is the more natural fighter and he is better then his little brother he also has a way better chin, he stops wlad.

Dempsey: he is overrated and way to small, vitali isnt just tall like willard he has skills, he stops him.

liston and Louis: very dangerous fights but I would make vitali the betting favourite his size helps him alot in these matchups. Im unsure about louis to be honest I might favour him over vitali in the end.

Marciano: way to small, despite heart and power size matters in this matchup.

Norton and patterson: both get stopped

Now he might lose some of these matches but I do think he deserves to be the favourite big in some slightly in others in these matchups. In the other fights I mentioned vs Ali,holmes, tyson, lewis and bowe he should be the underdog. Its to bad we will never see him tested.

The Clay that boxed off Sonny Listons head in their first fight would make Vitali look a fool, This is an awful thread mate, no offence.

Doubt Ali's punches would shutter Vit's chin. Vit by TKO in late rounds.

Both at their best - Vitali is too much for Ali, convincing win for Vitali who controls range with his jab and unloads. Ali wouldn't be able to hide and could take a beating. The size difference is just too much for poor Ali here. People don't realize how smart and sinsister Vitali is in the ring, he could easily handle Ali's mind games and use them against him.

Vitali wouldnt be able to set himself to throw decent shots, Ali would keep him off balance with his footwork all night long, if he got cornered he would just tie him up and then get back on the move. Remmember prime Ali/Clay could throw 7 or 8 punch combinations with lightning speed and move around the ring round after round.

Follow the you know what. Liston was the least popular champion ever, he generated no money. Ali on the otherhand, well you do the math. Both fights could have been you know whatted. And they both sure do look fishy is right.

Wow. just ........WOW. I did not know that VK win over Kirk Johnson made such an impression on you.

    See what I mean? :patsch

Klitschko fans are some the worse scum of the earth.

And yes, I've heard of the "phantom punch".

I think Vitali struggles with good techniqual fighters who can take a punch. Vitali may have beaten Fraizer but I very much dought he would have beaten Ali. I think Vitali gets distracted when he starts losing a few rounes as well. People always put too much weight on his size advantage.
