A close and competitive fight, with several possibilities of outcomes. Holmes would have to be at the top of his game, and couldn't afford to get sloppy as he did against men like Renaldo Snipes.. If he sports a cautious, yet busy performance, with his long term stamina, movement and durable chin, he might outpoint Louis to a decision or a very late stoppage.. For Joe Louis to win, he'd have to cut off the ring and make the best of every opportunity to get in his combinations to the head and body. He might do his best work, in the few instances that he gets Holmes on the ropes or in a corner, but even that would have its dangers, as Holmes had the tendency to deck fighters who pinned him with a big uppercut, as in the Weaver fight. Don't know for sure who wins.. I'd say its 50/50.
No one could predict this fight,,,,,,,,,,, Way too many possibilities,,,,,,, I've seen Joe Lois fight, and he's almost as good as Joe Louis.
Alongside Ken, one of the best to ever do it. This content is protected But, could he crossover to boxing is the question. :think
Larry would have been too smart and too vigilant to lose a decision to Joe, and being a boxer first, he'd have been playing for the cards all the way. Watch Louis with Walcott. Joe wasn't great at cutting off the ring. He was a trap setter waiting for the other guy to run out of patience and go for the kill. When he had a man stunned, the victim typically froze. Holmes didn't freeze when hurt, ever. Louis would have remained patient, and found himself out of time at the end of 15.
She's the reason I take Ali, Dempsey, Louis and several others over her boyfriend. "Women weaken legs!"-Mickey Goldmill. (This is especially true if he's having three ways with Lois and Lana.)
