Solis is gonna beat Vitali. Then Haye will retire, yes. I dont particularly care for Solis, but I think he will rise to the occasion and Haye will want no part of him.

He's full of **** about everything else, why believe on this particular claim. Anyone who believes anything that comes out of Haye's mouth is a gullible fool.

Pretty funny that we only talk about Haye while discussing his retirement or when he talks about the Klitschko's. Nothing about his performances in the ring in the recent past. Can he leave soon enough.

He won't have the title by the end of the year so he will retire.

If he does, it will be the first thing he was 100% honest about... So I don't believe it, but please let it be true!

Its really too bad. As a cruiser I thought he was going big places and his move to heavy excited me, but he really hasn't done 10% of what I thought he could or might. Now he's leaving supposedly, kind of a shame.

I never really believe a fighter when they say they'll retire. They rarely do, so that's justified. I'm still half-expecting Calzaghe and ODLH to come back...and ****ing Foreman.

    Nope

And even if he does annouce his retirement he'll annouce his comeback once he sees the opportunity to fight a boxer who perfectly fits Haye's gigantic reward/zero risk pattern.

    No, he won't retire.

Just by doing some rough calculating he doesn't have enough money to do it comfortably. Taxes, Booth, Sauerland, GBP and god knows who and what else sliced considerably his share from those three (?) big fights.

It would probably be enough for normal minded fighter but I don't think that David's ego is satisfied with less than £10M in the bank.. After all; he seems to be in for the money rather than aiming for glory, achievements and.. Knighthood. :)

    i think its a bluff

who knows with this guy to be honest

he does have options outside boxing and if he cant get the fight he wants he probably will retire

    maybe maybe not

the guy is so back and forth

No need to think about the Klitschko's and retirement. Povetkin retires him in May.
