    sounds good bro.

what exactly is the difference between roadwork and just running on the treadmill/elliptical/etc? I've noticed some posters on this forum refer to them as separate entities. I was under the impression that roadwork = running, right?

It's been cold and icy in my area for the past couple of months so I've just been running on the elliptical in my basement. Is that a valid substitute for roadwork?

some say its a cop out to run on atread mill, i only like running on the roads cause its natural, the air and ****. you find hills and what not, but road work is road work. good to go for time rather than distance however. 60 min run is 6mi+ most of the time

three days a week except for when we have cyclones, might be good as you have to sprit when trees are coming down.

    Not enough. Damn.

The treadmill is worlds apart. Went exclusively treadmill... RUDE awakening on the road. It is still good though. Treadmill cushions a lot, but that isn't a bad thing per se. The treadmill does move regardless and you can learn to be "efficient" on it. Just do no less than a 2% grade to help even it out.
