Now with JMM forbidding Beristain to train Maidana because a possible clash is down the line between the two.
So if it happens who wins this?

Marquez UD. If Pac can't KO JMM, Marcos would likely struggle. JMM will land all night with his accurate counters!

I have been asking for this fight for a while now. MAidana is made for JMM. All that power will also keep JMM on his toes. Obviously would not be surprised to see him go down but as usual gets up to outbox Maidana.

Cmon need moar votes and analysis. This isnt your typical fantasy matchup there is a good probability that it may happen the end of the year.

JMM is the WBA Lightweight champion and Maidana is Ranked #1 for the JWW WBA championship.

Maidana is a bigger version of Katsidis, a little more refined, but way bigger puncher.

All wrong for JMM at his age. Besides it is a high risk, low reward fight.

I'd say JMM, but it's pending on how good he is at 140. I'd like to see him fight at light-welter first in order to get an idea of how he fares at the weight. If he's even 80% of what he is at 135, he beats Maidana. Maidana's very overrated, particularly his power. And if Marquez carries the weight well, he'd outbox, outfox and outland Maidana.

JMM is struggling with fighters he is not suppose to struggle, Juan Diaz, Katsidis, Casa.

Am I the only one noticing that JMM slipped big time already and what is bailing him out is his experience?

Try adding a few more months or a year or two and he will regress further.

Maidana is all wrong - high risk with no financial reward. He might win but at what expense? Kissing the canvass again? Those punches would catch-up with him eventually.

    I'm confused here.....:huh

......a ******* puts up a poll, and no "Pac by KO" option.

Marquez has'nt slipped enough to figure these fighters out and commence a beatdown toward stoppage victories.

Right Einstein, which is exactly why Pacquiao is stalling the 3rd installment.

You did it again, you've cut and pasted this same statement you've made before every JMM fight since Marquez schooling of Manny Pacroid!:deal

i think JMM still has what it takes to beat a rugged power puncher like maidana....he would have to fight the perfect fight though, and that i'm sure he still has a lot of.....i dont think JMM can stop him though, would be a decision for sure....
