Desiree Washington Seriously though, who wins a single fight...tough call. Who wins the most fights if they were to fight 10 times, Wladimir. Why? I can see Wladimir adapting, doing what he needs to do, learning from each fight, while Tyson just gets frustrated.
- There's no way Wlad handles the pressure by just moving back in a straight line - there's no way a pawing left arm is keeping Tyson at bay - Tyson's head isn't going to be in the same place to be jabbed off, and once he slips one he's on the inside - Wlad does not have to inside game to deal with Tyson
I think we all know if Tyson cant stop his opponent inside 4 rounds he starts to struggle. And Wlad is not Tysons usual b-level punching bags. 50/50 imo.
How about Tyson not having the outside game to deal with Wlad? Why is that never considered? What makes you think Wlad ALLOWS Tyson to fight inside? What makes you think a mentally fragile fighter who has never come close to beating an A-level fighter (is it alright to call 2010 version of Wlad A level?) would be able to dodje that ****ing jab while absorbing Wlad's uber right hand when coming inside (Tyson stopped in 5 out of 6 losses, 1 DQ) when the only fighters he fought who were close to that were shot Holmes and Lewis (who was a year OLDER than Mike) who beat the living **** out of him.
Wlad would have lost before the opening bell. We've seen how much he panics when he gets hit and prime Tyson would have put the fear of God into him. Vitali is another matter, but Tyson destroys Wlad within 2 rounds.
Tyson thoroughly destroyed any fighter he sensed was scared of him (which was most of his opponents pre-Douglas). Forget Wlad's jab or anything to do with technique, he would have been terrified of prime Mike and for that reason alone Tyson ruins him within 2. Then there's the fact that Tyson is actually very mobile, unlike pretty much anyone Wlad has beaten in recent memory. It's easy to jab the **** out of an immobile target, but Tyson would have been inside Wlad's jab in no time at all and he was a dirty ****er as well.
Im sure if Foreman fought Ali 10 times, after a few fights he would get the idea Ali was trying to get him to tire himself out..... Wlad V Sanders all over again. This time more brutall
