Poor Morales, he shoudl look to fight for a vacate belt when khan and/or bradey moves up to 147. Maidana is the hardest puncher at 140 and this fight will end in a ko for maidana. I hope he doesnt get badly hurt.

I voted with my heart on this one. Full credit to Morales for going after Maidana; there are easier fights for him at this point!

Past his best and looking ropey on the comeback, I know, but he is still only 34 and with the right motivation Morales has the pedigree to beat the odds. War Morales!

Or, the real reason, you want it so you can shite on about how much you overly love Pacquiao and how fantastic this win for Morales makes him.

I rarely vote against a great. Morales can win this by decision. Maidana has power, but he has not proven 5 percent of what Morales has.

  11. Unfortunately Maidana will brutally end Morales' career.

Morales is a featherweight, he is just a shell of his former self. Would you favour roy jones against wlad as well?

Roy against Vlad no, but Vlad is more proven than Maidana. Morales even a shell of himself could outbox Maidana. He has to fight a perfect fight, but Morales is great. Morales is a real great, unlike JMM, who handpicks guys and does not come close to the resume of Morales.

I agree that morales is great but his last epic performance was vs pacquiao 6 years ago. If he cant even beat diaz how is he going to beat maidana? I think there is very little greatness left I will root for him of course but I predict maidana by earrly/midround ko.

Morales isn't great. Morales was great, and is a great. But he shouldn't even be sanctioned to fight anymore, much less thrown in there with Maidana. Even from watching MAB's last two fights, it's obvious that while he isn't what he used to be, but that he's still a competant fighter, a B-level fighter if you will. Morales isn't even at that level. I dont think he'll be massacred the way people make out, as Maidana's power is overrated, but he doesn't win. No way.
