Over at the scene, marquez rips the wbc 154 fight between unranked alvarezand suddenly number 1 saul alvarez.
I agree with him, you know the wbc has done ****ed up when mexicans are calling bull**** on this fight.

It does suck that Marquez had to wait like 8 years for a title shot when he was number 1 mandatory at 126 for YEARS, got robbed in a stinker with Norwood, then didn't get another shot for another couple of years. I understand his frustration.

he is right though, what has hatton or alvarez done to deserve that fight. Suleiman just wants a mexican champ at 154.

Actually Marquez' career is kind of tragedy, early dominance, some exciting fights, avoided for the 126 belt despite being at number 1, gets a shot, Norwood REFUSES to engage, does not get his knock down of NOrwood credited on the score cards, loses a decision, doesn't get a title shot for years, wins EASY, then in his second fight as champ unifies the belts EASY, then ... Pac. Really sad. Then going to indonesia to fight Chris John for peanuts. I do feel bad for Marquez, because he is NOT at his best right now, but was at his best during those years of obscurity.

You have to remember Alvarez is the next big thing coming out of Mexico, once he becomes champ there probably wont be enough love to go around for JMM that's more likely a reason for his bitterness.

then why doenst he fight angulo for the title, the wbc is extremely biased eventhough I love morales him ranking number 1 at 140 is bull**** as well.
Even if Marquez is bitter it doesnt mean he isnt right. It seems that marquez will get good money in pac fight number 3 at 147 in November so he doesnt have to be mad he just calls bull**** when he obviosuly sees it. I have no hatred towards saul alvarez but him getting a cheap paperbelt is kind of lame in my opinion.

Fighters like Marquez who speak up like he is now in this circumstance, does boxing a service.
Its out in the open public what the travesty of what the WBC is doing and at least it keeps them somewhat on thier toes to know they now have to explain that decision to sanction the Alvarez-Hatton as a Championship fight.......

......unfortunately however, by speaking up, Marquez does himself a disservice.......

......you can bet that the WBC has taken notes and will fully make any of their judges appointed to work a JMM fight, aware that JMM should not be given the benefit of anything resembling close rounds.......

......so are the perks for those that speak up for justice.:?

I wonder if Alvarez is thinking "The **** is going on?"
Even he has to see the bull**** in this. I get if hed be fighting someone ranked but Hatton ? :nut
    Edit:
If a title becomes vacant for any reason, the Board of Governors may in its discretion take whatever steps or actions it deems necessary or appropriate to fill the title,
    3) appoint as challenger the champion of a lower or higher division to contend against the highest rated available boxer of the division for the vacant title.
    Did not know that

JMM should mind his own business and get a fight already.
