    Theres actually quite a few fights I am looking forward to next month, didnt realise there were that many. None SUPER huge besides the Cotto and Martinez fights (yes I know the cotto fight isnt huge but to me its two of my fav fighters all time so its big even if Mayorga is past it) but theres a lot of smaller fights that have my interest sparked for sure. Cant wait for next month.

    Here's some intresting info about the purses most of the fighters on the card are getting:

    Nonito Donaire- 350,000
    Fernando Montiel- 250,000

    Mike Jones and Jesus Soto Karass- 75,000

    Mike Alvarado- 20,000
    Dean Harrison- 8,000

    Mark Jason Melligan- 10,000
    Gabriel Martinez- 6,000

    Yea, eye popping stuff. I didn't think Donaire would be getting 100 K more, and I would have thought both fighters would be getting at or at least near 1 mil.

    And it is a shame considering the kind of money Andre Berto makes fighting top 20 fighters and these two fighters top of their division and they aren't making much.

    I know. I am gettingthe pre fight jitters and also doubting my pick :lol: Donaire just needs to be smart.... use his skills, and hopefully in that weigh in Montiel is wearing shoes while Donaire is not because I was counting on a bit more height advantage.

    Man, I just hope its a good fight tomorrow, hope both guys do well and may the best man win.
