    I would say the cheating does taint him for me aswell. But a paper champion he wasn't.
    He was a unique talent doesn't matter what way you look at it! There is definate things to pick at in his career, that there is no doubt, i've done it! But i feel his phenomenal talent and the way he beat his foes overshadows the other stuff.

    Roy Jones NEVER beat a Lineal, Unified, or Undisputed Champion in his whole career. Think about that for a second....

    i've tried to think of one but it's true. to be fair though, were any available? i mean since he was the one doing the unifying it's not like he had any unified titlests to take out. lineage wasn't established at 168 when he was there and the lineage at 175 was a fragmented joke

    A strong argument can be made that Jones was never THE Champion in any weight division he fought in. And it is his fault because the fights were there to be made to prove himself he was just reluctant to do it for whatever reason.

    Jones did fight the worst Heavyweight of all time John Ruiz, but considering how much he came up and was out weighed to fight him he still gets credit. He also did fight a good amount of bums but he had some of the greatest skills ever in the game, so no he was not a paper champion.

    :lol::rofl:patsch

    Jones is a Glass Jawed Fraud with no Heart and he was a convicted steroid cheat. His whole career was smoke and mirrors nothing but carefully crafted moving through weight classes handpicking fights for trinket belts.

    How did Roy Jones became a heavyweight champion of the world when Lennox Lewis was the Legitimate,Linear,Universally recognize Undisputed Heavyweight Champion of the World?

    How the **** did John Ruiz have a world championship belt when Lennox was the Undisputed Heavyweight World Champion?

    Answer this!

    Roy Jones was a civil servants nightmare. What was his problem with civil servants? Is it true he offered Michael Nunn a 90/10 cut?:lol::rofl:patsch

    Didn't HBO call him "reluctant Roy", as he would never fight anyone who he felt would have a chance of shattering his fragile Glass Mandible?
