Solo Boxeo: Mercito Gesta vs. Genaro Trazancos II & Eloy Perez vs. Roger Gonzalez RBR

Gesta beat him up the first time, winning five of the first six rounds dominantly on my card before the KO. Trazancos did have a good 6th, thoug - and has just seized some momentum when he got stopped.

 

Round 1

Gesta throws his right jab and drops left crosses to the body as Trazancos keeps his long spidery legs moving around him. Gesta rips a massive left uppercut that falls short. Gesta lands his jab and gets Trazancos pressed up against the ropes. Hard, furious combos from Gesta coming forward. Trazancos takes a lead left just above the trunks. HARD combo from Gesta, left uppercut and right hook. Trazancos is backed into a corner. Trazancos is flicking his jab out and trying to keep his long arms held out to tie Gesta up. Gesta throws a hard left uppercut and trades with Trazancos at short range, backing him into a corner again.

Round 2

Gesta puts together clipping combos of right hooks and overhand lefts, hurting Trazancos. They get knotted against the ropes as Trazancos desperately holds on and they get broken up. Gesta resets and calmly starts pumping his left hand out straight until it beans Trazancos and Getsa pours the punches on when he smells blood. Hard left uppercut by Gesta, followed by a stiff jab. Trazancos throws slow, telegraphed lead rights and a pair of fat hooks. Gesta patiently stalks Trazancos from just out of range and blocks a few sidewinding punches. Hard left hand counter down the pipe by Gesta. Trazancos is backed up by a 1-2 but comes loping back toward Gesta trying to land a lead right. Gesta is landing lots of short punches on the move.

Round 3

Gesta lines up some straight punches and has Trazancos progressively more hurt throughout the first minute as they slam into him. Trazancos shrinks into the ropes and tries to defend himself but Gesta is absolutely mauling him. Trazancos nearly goes down a few times but manages to stay on his feet (often with the aid of the ropes). Gesta lands hard right hooks and straight lefts, and the most damaging punch: the left uppercut. Trazancos whips out body punches while stumbling around the ring, trying to back Gesta off. Gesta brushes aside the arms of Trazancos, who's trying to create a defensive web.

That could even be 10-8 for Gesta.
