We may see Marquez vs Pacquiao III in November......

Loving it. I Hope it it as it 140 if not then have it at least around 144. They can say what they like about Manny being a full blown Welterweight but he clearly isn't he came in at 144 for his a fight that was set at 150 and that fight would be be for it at a lower weight.

marquez looked like crap against diaz and katsidis, they had no business landing and/or hurting him the way they did.

 

Hard pressed to find why this is good news.

 

Hope the fight happens. Also like to see Pac Vs. Berto.

 

i don't think weight makes to much of a differnce. if you look at the last figth both were around 145 when they entered the ring. in Pacquiao's fights at WW he has been the same.

Honestly i would just have the fight with no weight limit. fight at whatever you feel you perform best at.

 

Thats kind of what would happen really right, if the fights made at 147 like Arum says his fights will be at Pac will weigh in about 145, JMM at 142 or whatever anyway neither will be on the limit so I agree makes little difference.

Dont agree with previous poster that Marquez has looked **** he did look tired at the end of Diaz II but racked up enough rounds and thought 1 big left hook aside he out warred a true throwback style warrior in Katsidis and his combinations still looked very sharp. Fights still a valid super-fight this year for me

 

Pac has been hurting naturally bigger guys..

I wonder how Marquez will handle Pacquioa's power..

 

For those of us that weren't really following a great deal of international boxing and concentrating on domestic boxing when the original fights happened, this is a good thing. To be able to feel the real build up and tension leading into the fight.
Obviously I've watched the preceding fights but not followed the build up, as I was effectively catching up. This is a genuine needle fight against two guys that seem to match up very well together. Can wait. Best case is thru fight at 140!
