Dean Harrison got outclassed and stopped in 4 by Paul McCloskey (Khan's next opponent). I think Harrison took that fight on short notice :think

    Round 3

Alvarado is throwing really solid shots, 1-2s and uppercuts. Harrison is sliding back and jabbing all while getting lit up. Flush punches just smash into Harrison's face from every angle. Alvarado is defending with his left low and his shoulder and right glove protecting his face. Harrison responds to a series of hard uppercuts by digging some hard hooks to the body. Alvarado is bullying him on the inside and pushing him back and into punching range. Harrison keeps circling wide and eating right hands, but is trying to counter punch and showing a good chin. Alvarado leads with a right hand over the top, bang on the chin. Harrison falls into a clinch while jabbing. Alvarado lets several combos go until the bell, hooking and crossing off the jab.

It's all Alvarado so far, and he could be on his way to a stoppage (by way of a newly opened cut on Harrison, if not the old fashioned way).

    Round 4

Harrison is trying to stay on an even keel, moving and punching with Alvarado and getting a few shots in but Alvarado is absolutely shredding him with uppercuts and just about every other punch in the book (but mostly uppercuts). Harrison muscles inside and digs some body shots, but eats a flush left hook. Alvarado hops on his toes and backs Harrison up without punching. Harrison falls in and taps the body again. Alvarado has a right hand go wide as they punch together and their faces each collide with the opponent's shoulder. Now Alvarado lands several right hands, painful stuff.

    Shutout for MA

The commission stops it, I think due to the cut (caused by a punch).

    Round 1

Musquez misses a right hand as Ugas ducks, and throws a southpaw 1-2. Ugas throws in twos repeatedly. WOAH!!!! Ugas is caught with a big right hand while jabbing his way in!!!! Ugas is stunned badly!!!! Musquez opens up!! Ugas holds and clears his head until the break. Wow, I just noticed how flabby Musquez is. Ugas holds again as they trade punches, Musquez clubbing him from on high and Ugas working to the body. Ugas hurts him with a few body punches! Musquez answers with his own hard body shots. Ugas stays at mid range with a high guard catching jabs. Musquez has his head snapped by a few Ugas jabs. Ugas steps into a couple of nice left hooks to the soft belly, almost stepping past him and then just leaving his fist dangling unseen down below.

Ugas came back and won it. 10-9

Unfortunately he has Buddy McGirt in his corner, so if he gets hurt like that again it could be taken out of his hands.

Mike Alvarado now has 29 Pro Fights. Are there any links and/or documentation from other posters expressing outrage and claims of him being a BUM/OVERRATED/HYPEJOB after 17 Pro fights....HINT HINT!!!!:-(

    Round 2

Ugas is stepping back and firing his right jab and then boomeranging back with hard 1-2s. Ugas keeps working the 1-2s and other short combos and has Musquez hurt and staggered against the ropes. Ugas is patient, watching for openings and takes a few stabs out of the orthodox stance, with left hooks setting up right hands. Musquez is pushing forward and grabbing, trying to hit Ugas in the clinch with a slapping overhand right. Ugas is hooking him back into range and lining him up for the straighter shots.

One of the commentators, while lauding Buddy McGirt's pedigree, says "He used to be the Freddie Roach of boxing trainers...now it's Freddie Roach". :patsch

    Round 3

Ugas blocks several jabs from Musquez and looks to pot shot him with counters. Musquez slaps around his right to the body and tries to force an uppercut on the inside. Ugas is just showing off his superior timing and speed, landing easily while standing right in front of Musquez and blocking everything he throws. Musquez keeps aiming high, not discouraged, and occasionally bringing it down to the body. Musquez pulls Ugas into a rough clinch.

    30-27 Ugas

    Round 4

Ugas is coming forward blocking in stride, and lands some really hard shots with both hands. One particularly loud upper-hook hurts Musquez. Ugas is just walking through jabs and throwing a hard 1-2; Musquez drifts to the ropes, stunned. Musquez hugs him in close and slaps him in the back with his right, which is barely even closed into a fist. Ugas is just pushing out of the clinches and outboxing Musquez from short range, slapping his jabs away and hitting him with pot shots.

    40-36 Ugas

Clark, Rosales, and Huerta are better than anyone on Porter's resume.

STFU and go away. You know nothing, and your lame agenda is tiresome.
