    MJ Melligen vs. Gabriel Martinez

    Round 1

Melligen is darting in with some nice right hooks and pulling out quickly before Martinez can answer back. Melligen takes a long step forward and throws a hard right jab. Martinez jabs and shuffles backward. Melligen is just cruising inside behind his right jab and landing hard lefts. Martinez is trying to get off a 1-2 every time they come together but just sliding his fists over Melligen's back as the pinoy puncher barrels forward with his head tucked down and bangs away with overhead bombs.

    10-9 MJM

Probably not. Jones-Karass isn't until at least 9:45 pm (3:45 am for you) and this current bout is only scheduled for 10 (meaning it will finish before 9pm/3am. There will probably be at least one more shown in between...probably Bey vs. Hernandez, an 8-rounder.

I Absolutely Agree 100%. I just don't understand why "Certain" fighters expected to fight and beat Jesus Christ, King Kong, Bruce Lee and The Black Dude from "Green Mile" in their first 10 fights...and have to do so in Impressive Fashion. While other fighters can fight 25-35 fights before they step-in competition. All I am saying is: Keep the Criticism Fair...ON BOTH SIDES!!! And for all those Idiots who have selective Memory, and only believe I like Black Fighters...Are the same people that called me crazy in my several thread calling Shane Mosley simply an Average Fighter during his whole Career and Calling Zab Judah Way Overrated. But they don't remember that.

    Round 2

Melligen shoots in and lands hard southpaw 1-2s before flying backward. There are a few hard clashes, and the commentators mention that unintentional butts are a strong possibility. Martinez is leading with his right hand and uses it to set up a nice short left hook as he pitches himself forward. Melligen flips up several quick right jabs. Martinez again leads with the right to set up a left hook. Melligen uses a triple right jab to set up a hard left to the chest. Very hard lead lefts now from Melligen. Martinez is backed all the way across the ring and they are starting to get into heated exchanges, with Melligen by far landing the harder and more plentiful leather.

    20-18 MJM

    Round 3

Melligen comes forward combining high right hooks with left uppercuts to the body. Martinez is taking small steps around and trying to get his hands popping off whenever Melligen closes in on him. Martinez times him with a couple of slaps with either hand while turning. Melligen shrugs off all his punches and keeps coming straight through the middle lane, digging in with hard lefts to the body set up by his range-finder right jab. Melligen taunts with his jab, flapping it upward/backhanded at Martinez and trying to get the hands up to expose the body for a left hand.

Better round for Martinez, but 30-27 MJM
