Melligen walks in calmly, jabbing and leaning away from Martinez's punches. Melligen is swinging up some hard wrecking-ball lefts while walking Martinez down, and eats a counter right hand but isn't bothered. Martinez keeps trying to bottle lightning and land a big right hand but Melligen is able to shimmy left and right all while coming at him and keeping his pace. Melligen is just narrowly avoiding the rights and landing single and double shots, usually right hooks and long loop-around left hands. Nice short uppercut by Melligen.

Round 5

Melligen is landing his right jab almost undefended. Martinez is throwing lots of stray punches, but only ever coming close with the straight right hand as Melligen shimmies and rolls his weight from side to side. Martinez finally lands a right! Another! A right, and then a left hook as Melligen leans back. Melligen doesn't bother ad******g much, sticking with his tight circling. They trade evenly down the stretch.

Round 6

Melligen pumps his jab and then lands very hard with a lead upper-hook. Martinez lands a nice 1-2 after being chased across the ring. Melligen seems to be unconcerned with any punches that he can't either block or see in time to lean away from...his neck is just rigid. Martinez backs into the ropes and takes a hard lead left to the body. Moments later Martinez gets a good right hand in during an exchange but Melligen is still backing him up. Hooking left to the body by Melligen. Martinez backs up and tries to let some wild arcing shots go but takes a right hook just above the trunks. Melligen is bullying him around and landing some right hooks to the temple.
