The ref, the commentators...no one around to even acknowledge the elephant in the room...the SEIZURE, brought about by a magnificent and massive blow to temporal/frontal lobes of the right hemisphere...the ref should have his license revoked!

Premature stoppage? You see Montiel having involuntary movements while he was down? That was seizure like movements there, Scary :(

    In fairness to the ref..

He didn't see Montiel convulsing on the floor, that is probably why he let the fight continue...

Donaire is more skilled than Sergio Maravilla. Give him Mares or Agbeko, if he knocks them out, he should be pound for pound number 3

Agreed. he was defenseless. Did you notice how late he reacted to the hook Donaire charged in with after the KD? He was a sitting duck. I won't necessarily criticize the ref for not stopping it when Montiel couldn't/didn't show his hands, but he certainly could have.

He'd knock out Gamboa. Gamboa has no defensive skills at all and would not stand a chance at all. Montiel had good technical skills and head movement and still got knocked out in the 2nd round.

To all the people that are complaining about a "premature" stoppage, Montiel wants to give you guys a kiss for all the support.
