i think it is safe to cross him out. it would be 3 months only until he won't fighting for 1 year and he has no immediate plans to fight. so the top 4 players would be pacquiao, donaire, martinez and marquez.

If you're gonna displace FMJ in favor of Donaire, do so because of Floyd's inactivity...to say he deserves to be ahead just because of tonight is a bit silly, don't you think?

Calm the **** down with this recent fight syndrome. I wanted to put Donaire at number 3 too after this and I thought about it and realized Martinez was going against a higher ranked fighter in Williams and schooled Pavlik in the same year.
Donaire did great tonight and will be boxing's new star, but
    1. Pacquiao
    2. Mayweather(ONLY because of inactivity)
    3. Martinez
    4. Donaire
    5. Marquez
    6. Lopez
    7. Wladimir
    8. Pongsaklek Wonjongkam
    9. Bradley
    10. B Hop

so why is mayweather at 2 because of inactivity? at least you put pac at number 1. that had to be hard for you.

Well for me it's not just about tonight. I've been high on Donaire for a long time and I've always felt Floyd although a great fighter is overrated.

I did it because I want to avoid argument. I usually pick my list based off a mix of recent wins and ability. Floyd has the most ability and Martinez has had the best recent wins, but Manny has had the best mix.

Donaire's win over Montiel (a P4P ranked fighter) is more impressive than Floyd's Marquez-Mosley wins combined.

Don't be a blind *****. A 2nd round KO is far more impressive than the 2 UDs of Floyd.
Shane is old grandpa, non P4P ranked, while Marquez is a bloated lightweight.

What`s a p4p list supposed to be? It is a ranking of who is the best fighter all things being equal. Its not a favourites playing game that you use to reward a fighter's activity or recent win. Its a ranking purley based on talent and ability. If floyd's talent and past performances don't speak for themselves you need to re-examine his career.
