Felix is probably #1 middle in world!!!

 

He gets a 'flat rate' fee for a fight, no matter whom he fights. The same deal with Ks... it makes for boring match up in both cases.... but it makes money for them as the hall was almost full this time around too.

 

by the way, how in the hell did James Slater on ESB got Hearns in front at the time of stoppage?!:huh:huh

He even claimed how fast Hearns was, splitting the double guard with his fast and accurate jab. What I saw live is a weak arse excuse of a jab and wide looping punches that doesn't even seem particularly hard or fast. It was also clear that Sturm was much quicker, and not only because he could time Hearns and because he's got tight throwing technique - Hearns was simply slow! It really amazes me how one can give Hearns more than a single mercy round... you must be really a hater or know **** about boxing.

 

Same thing with Haye in the UK - though Sturm is way more dangerous for the top dogs. I agree 100% that he has to step up. I'd like to see him against Pirog or Martinez.

Slater always writes bs like this. He´s fast with his articles but they are amongst the worst on here.

Sturm is the German David Haye. Talks big about unification fights but then fights zero risk bums and the local naive fans can't get enough of it.

Don't think so. He - as well as other German based middleweights like Zbik and Sylvester - can be outworked despite being the much better boxer: see Sturm's fights against Gevor and Griffin, for example. IF Williams can recover from the brutal KO against Martinez, I see him winning a 117:111 decision against Sturm.
I think Sturm stands a much better chance against Martinez who isn't as dominant as a middlweight as his p4p ranking might suggest.
