destroy Fernando Montiel isn two rounds, WBO/WBC junior welterweight champion Timothy Bradley (27-0, 11KOs) sent a message to his WBA rival, Amir Khan (24-1, 17KOs). Bradley wants to fight him next and a date of July 23 has been set aside. The Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas is on hold for the potential fight. Khan has a scheduled title defense on April 16 against Paul McCloskey at the MEN Arena in Manchester, England. "You will probably see me in the ring on July 23,and don't miss it". Hopefully, i can get Khan in the ring with me." so khan, stop running.Stop running out there khan", Bradley said.

Haha Khan is not running, he doesn't need to run after facing Maidana, stylistically the worst opponent he could have faced in the entire division by a country mile.

    Exactly what I was thinking.

    :patsch

A deal in principle has been reached for July 23rd...you yourself even mention it in the ****ing interview! So how on earth can Khan be running when he's AGREED to fight you!!

He pulled the same **** right after Alexander fight. Knowing full well that Khan will be fighting in the UK in April and that HBO will never allow a Bradley-Khan fight to take place there...he still spouted the bull**** of "Tell Khan I'll fight him in the UK next!". How are you gonna do that, Tim? When you know that can't happen??

Clever guy. He gives off the impression that he's the one who wants the fight the most, and that it's Khan who'srunning away. This paves the way for the retarted followers of the sport to believe him, and echo his bull**** further.

Bradley is just mad that his last fight with Alexander was nowhere near as good as Khan's fight with Maidana. Khan needs an easy fight after his war with Maidana so after Mcclosky lets see what Khan does.

I think he means that because they rejected the Bradley fight next, instead of Khan/McCloskey, he's somehow running. Of course, if they meet in June, it's all besides the point and I think they will do.

I would have liked to have seen Bradley on the undercard and look genuinely impressive. Against a McCloskey level fighter, who won't cause him too many problems and he can look A* against, to hype the big one in the summer.

Thing is, even the most hardcore of Khan's critics and biggest fans of Bradley here never accused Khan of 'running' so what's the point of him saying it lol. It just looks stupid.

Uhh...I think he was just joking around. You can hear how he said it during the interview, and he smiles after he says it...As if to say he's just fooling around, but legitimates wants to fight Khan.
Some people can't read sarcasm, or facial expressions to save there lives. Go back and watch the interview.

Sadly it appears this kind of garbage talk gets idiot passive followers of the sport excited. Hence why some fighters will do it at any given time.

i don't know about you but i would run away from that big chain ball head of his.
But the statement was corny, he felt he had to say something to make it sound exciting.

Well of course it wasn't serious, because if he was and he genuinely believes Khan is against fighting him he would need to have his head checked!

Like I say its just something extra to get passive followers interested. They will want some underlying story not just the excitement of the the two of them fighting each other.
