Holy **** right where the temple and jaw meet... My boy has massive amounts of heart the way he got up, and actually hopped up knowing he had to make the count, he immediately wanted to get up, that's why I think he shaked like he was trying to move but his body wouldn't let him. Lots of credit for that, any lesser man would have stayed sleeping.
This content is protected THIS PICTURE OF HIS FACE,BEFORE THE FIGHT....................WHERE'S THE SCAR?
I noticed that aswell. I saw that but I just didn't think it was because of Donaire's punch. Can anyone verify this one?
if you look at the punch in slow mo it looks like his head was nearly dislodged form his neck, this is ****ing crazy, and montiel got back up from this!!!
The shot to the temple always throws off a fighters equilibrium, which I take why Montiel's mental faculties were still intact and so why he willed his body to get up. .....at the point of Montiel getting hit right at the temple, it then becomes a fight for Montiel against his own body faculties. Its Montiel's mental strenghth fighting his body.......and I got to say, Montiel mental strenghth beat his uncooperative body and so he got up. I'm looking at Montiel's eyes as he's down, and the look of them, "he's in desperation fighting his body to be able to get up. I've got chills just looking at it, what a Warrior!
Some people here might criticize me for bringing this up, but I'm being dead serious here.......Why dont dents like those happen more frequently in boxing? The handwraps are to be to a certain specification and then the fighter wears a padded glove to prevent such defined breaks as that one in Montiel's temple area....... I would imagine that if you're getting hit by a padded glove, a dish as such appears in Montiel's face would'nt happen like that. ......any opinions on this, has anyone ever seen such a dent on another fighters face as small an defined as that here picture with Montiel. I'm not accusing Donaire, but it just makes one wonder.
