1: Manny Pacquiao = Quality of opposition in his last 2 fights (soon to become 3) hasn't been worthy of a P4P king, however he is active, outside of Mayweather I don't see anyone beating him. Not lost for years and has fought quality opposition since 2001.

2: Floyd Mayweather Jr. = The guys lack of activity is absolutely killing him, I don't think there is one fighter out there that is capable of beating him other than Manny Pacquiao (who I would still favour Floyd over.) His win over Shane Mosley who I had around about P4P number 4 going into their 2010 fight is keeping him in the list, that is the best win since Pacquiao-Cotto in my opinion. (If he hasn't fought but 1st of May hes out of the list.)

3: Juan Manuel Marquez = Surprise eh? Getting tough to split them now. JMM has given off the air of being a **** recently but the guy is one hell of a fighter. Yes he lost to Floyd Mayweather a few years back but he didn't belong in the ring with Mayweather at that weight. Has consistently beat very good fighters at a weight clearly not suited to him (the guy gets dropped more than a Libyan protester) He deserves this spot.

4: Sergio Martinez = The guy has come out of nowhere, and looks pretty much untouchable at the 154/160 weights. Shocking, absolutely shocking KO win over Paul Williams who months earlier had scored a victory over Sergio Martinez. His win over Kelly Pavlik and performance against Kermit Cintron mean he deserves this spot.

5: Nonito Donaire = I'm a believer. The guy scored a spectacular win over Darchiniyan many moons ago but then sort of dropped off which made me wonder what the **** the guy was doing. In the end he takes a fight that was on of the toughest there has been at the lower weights for either fighter, in Donaire-Montiel. I don't need to explain why I am a believer.

6: Timothy Bradley = Poor, poor Tim. The guy deserves to be at number 3, but hes fighting against a crop of what are truly remarkable fighters who have truly remarkable wins. The guy is a poster boy for the sport. He trains like a demon and constantly fights young and hunger fighters or tested veterans of the sport. A win against Khan (while I don't see him winning) would have him moving up if the guys above don't keep fighting the best out there.

7: Wladimir Klitschko = I know about the drama surrounding the Haye fight, or give a ****. The guy's competition has been absolutely shocking, however he has been dominating all possible competition for a long while now. The best heavyweight fighter out there in my book.

8: Giovani Segura = Knockout victory over Ivan Calderon? Your on the list!

9: Pongsaklek Wonjongkam = Can't say I have watched too much of Pong outside of his fight with KOKI KAMEDA!!!! The guy has fought some truly awful competition by the look of things. At the same time there are some decent fighters there. Period of sustained dominance, I'll allow him a spot.

10: Carl Froch = Say want you want. That I am a Britfag or whatever but out of the current cream of the Super-Middleweight division (of which there is a lot) Carl is the man that stands out. Jermain Taylor, Jean Pascal, Arthur Abraham, Andre Direll and (albiet a loss) Mikkel Kessler. The guy has constantly fought tough competition since he got his strap and hes travelled to do so. Give the man his credit with a spot on this list.

Disclaimer: Euro-level talents left out due to their sheer superiority over these regional-level fighters.

solid list but FLoyd should be removed from it entirely due to inactivity and Nonito is the acting P4P King in Floyd's absense!

 

Donaire said something along the lines of "when I'm in the ring everything slows down." Last time I heard that was from Roy Jones! I think that is kind of special.

Not sure about slick. Would you consider Roy Jones slick? I always saw him as a sort of super-human athletic beast in his prime.

to me slick means knowing how to use your speed, quickness, and athleticism to make it hard for them to land on you

GUys like CLottey and WInky have good defense, but I don't consider them slick.

Amir and Andre have slick potential, but it looks like they don't care for it.
