Its Realy a Joke to Think That Wlad would have a Chance To Beat Prime Tyson atschatschatsch Sorry Never, dont Forget Prime Tyson Could Box 12 Rounds, Not Only 4-5 Rounds His Speed His Power His Agressive Style and Powerfull Uppercups and Hooks Would Destroy Wlad Inside 3 Rounds No Doubt Stop to Talk **** Here,to Compare Wlad with IRON MIKE TYSON. The Tyson Under ANGELO D´AMATO was unbeatable.
I see fans are not over all the Tyson hype even now, It will take a few more years for them to wake up and see the real Tyson....
That's funny coming from someone who posts exclusively about the Klitschkos. Some of us were around and watching boxing pre-Klitschko to know exactly what prime Tyson was like. 21 year old Iron Mike beats any version of Wlad and prime Wlad just delays the inevitable knockout by a round or two, if that.
I am a heavyweight boxing fan only, I post on many heavyweight threads, i also miss many too, because i have a life outside of a internet discussion forum.
Wlad has fought no one even remotely close to prime Tyson, if Wlad got stormed out by Brewster Tyson woulda absolutely mauled in him by 3 rounds.
Would have been quicker than that...another Carl Williams is how I see it panning out. WALDO doesn't like being pressured but the bums he's faced to now can't do it effectively due to being either old or carrying blubber. Young Tyson had the speed, the footwork, the head movement and the power to make this fight extremely short and WALDO has literally nothing to counter that style. Worst possible H2H matchup for WALDO here.
Tyson not being an outside fighter (which I'm aware of) does not mean he'll eventually fight inside. What about him not being able to get past that jab? Why do you guys take it for granted that he'll easily find his way through a jab which is universally accepted as the best jab since Holmes only that Wlad possess a right which you should be ready to eat when you try to dodge that jab!? I'm really on the fence with boxers like Tyson, Tua and so on. As opposed to 99% of this forum I find it freaking obvious that they were style over substance and their losses to any A level fighter they've ever met make my point more valid than yours. Tyson's ridiculously overrated "prime" in which he knocked out bums with style (I enjoy that too, no doubt) and which allegedly ended at the age of 24 because he (again allegedly) didn't show the same dedication, because he had private problems and because he went to jail is a myth. Tyson is no H2H monster and he would not beat Wlad in 10 fights more times than Wlad beats him.
I love all the 'allegedly' ****. WALDO was 'allegedly' green and gassed against Purrity, 'allegedly' undertrained and complacent against Sanders and 'allegedly' poisoned/gassed against Brewster, and 2 of those wins were in his prime. Every shred of evidence that we have points towards a young Tyson being able to absolutely maul any version of WALDO who has NEVER beaten a decent fighter to this day, just average bums. Tyson had his fair share of bums too but the important part is he actually cleaned out the division and was unified....all at the same age that WALDO was gassing out and making excuses for losing to Ross ****ing Purrity :rofl No excuses or bull**** here, WALDO would lose, and lose badly.
Yeah, I do. As far as Wlad's jab goes, it is brilliant, yes, but he's shown time and time again, that if you give him upper body movement, it can be slipped. Even Sam Peter was able to do it, the second time they fought. When he used upper body movement, Wlad's jab was not that effective and if Peter can do it, so can Tyson. Using other fighters, Ibragimov, Sanders, Brewster, Thompson etc., all managed to find a way past Wlad's jab at some point. It's not like he isn't getting hit because, as I said earlier, the usualy connect ratio is around 30% with power punches. These guys are getting in range and landed power punches. Holmes, even when he fought Tyson, still had a great jab which wasn't much worse than Wlad's, as he proved when he outjabbed Mercer, and Tyson had no issue getting past it. Sure, you can say that Holmes' jab wasn't as good as Wlad's and you'd have a point but it wasn't that much worse. It was still a dominant jab and Tyson took it away with great upper body movement. It would be almost impossible to pin prime Tyson on the end of a jab and I don't think any heavyeight, including prime Liston, Louis, Holmes, Lewis, Ali etc., could do it. Wlad's couldn't either. Like I said, to beat Tyson, you need to be able to take his shots and stay standing. I don't think Wlad could.
Very poignant. Every guy that beat Tyson in his prime had a decent chin, WALDO doesn't, end of argument. Tyson KO1....absolute nailed on certainty.
It's just too easy to imagine Wlad folding under Tyson's onslaught. Lewis i would give a good chance of beating prime Tyson with the main reasons being because of his self belief, calmness under pressure and the fact he had a great uppercut, something which is needed against Tyson. Wlad does'nt really have an uppercut or the calmness under pressure to get through Tyson's inevitable examination of his soul. Although Wlad obviously has self belief i just think it would drain away from him within 1 minute of the opening bell. The way to look at it is like this; Will a peak Tyson land punches on Wladimir Klitschko = yes. Will Wladimir Klitschko be able to take the shots = No. It's not the hardest fight to predict. I think the more sensible people on this thread can easily come to this conclusion.
Funny that, i was just thinking a lot of people in this thread can't have ever seen the real Tyson fight. I guess your one of them. Judging from this ludicrous comment i assume you were too young to be around in Tyson's prime. If your not then i can only assume you personally don't like the man and let this get in the way of balanced and objective thoughts, or you genuinely have'nt got a clue about boxing. Hype my arse. Hype for what decimating opponents and setting a destructive path to the Undisputed title. Hype for being a worldwide phenomenom. Hype for his fights being an event in bars and living rooms throughout the world. I'm sorry to **** on your fire Bubby, but Tyson transcended the sport, Wlad is lucky if he trancends Germany. That right there might just tell you something you need to know. Hype indeed. Do you know the everyday man know's Wlad only has one of the russians and that's if your lucky they even know that. Ask someone in the 80's who the h/weight champ was. If you look beyond your superhero worship and study your man being put under pressure, then watch any 2 opening rounds of Tyson in the 80's. Then ask yourself seriously, can Wlad live with that ? I'm sure you will see the truth through all the hype!
