Did Montiel land a solid right before getting dropped?

    That was actually sick how he rolled out of the shot, at the same time creating inertial to execute his devastating shot immediately after montiel connecting... If he would have been stationary when Montiel landed it, they both would have been out.. but Man nonito rolled out sick!

    Nice...

    Looking at that makes me remember how sad I got yesterday. :-((

    This is something that Freddy Roach teaches alot, But with a left rip to the body. Its a gutsy move cos' your opening yourself up to entice them to throw that right hand.

    I've tried it numerous times in sparring but always get tagged. Guess thats why I'm not a world champ!!

    Sure Montiels punch landed but Donaire knew it was coming and reacted by rolling away and turn over his hook. Which was the problem with Montiel, while throwing the straight right he wasn't anticipating a hook which took him completely by surprise.

    That's why no one can actually blame Montiel here and say that he didn't protect himself. Montiel just threw a punch and Donaire also threw his punch just a few milliseconds later.

    Why do people feel it's a requirement for someone to get their chin tested? The point of boxing is to hit and not get hit and I think Donaire is not doing a bad job. With punchers like JML & Gamboa you DON"T want them to land flush on your chin.

    yes he was hit but donaire rolled with the punch and was about to thrown the left hook at the same time.
