He beat two guys that are great fighters. Take away that, you can say he has a couple of solid wins. Pacquaio has a solid body of win in his resume not counting all the big wins on his resume. Thats 10 years worth of ass kicking. Gonna be nearly imposible to catch up.

I only saw a thread on donaire vs pac at 122, not donaire vs prime pac. that would be crazy :huh I must have missed some jokes..

Get on the Donaire Band wagon and enjoy it :hat

donaires relatively young and can still improve.. I cant wait for him to go up in weight. I think he has the tools to be great. Ring smarts and fast hands are the right ingredients for a champion

I dont know what his personal issues is, but it dont seem to affect his boxing now:bbb

To be honest, Donaire is a more well put together, better rounded fighter than Pac was at the lower weights. Granted, Pac skipped Super Fly and Bantam altogether.
Pac managed to smash his way through on his straight left and hit the wall against Morales in their first fight, had to go back to better develop his right hook, and then went back to climbing up the ranks. He isn't on Pac's level but he's a more complete fighter than Pac was. He's still got room to grow his name and talent. But no reason for people to get butthurt with the Pac comparisons, whether you like or dislike them. Just let them be.

The same reason Naseem Hamed and Amir Khan are compared , nationality , race etc etc !!!

The guy is a Phillipino sensation (Donaire) as was / is Pacquiao (probably more like a mega star now) but you get my point !!!

Its a completley clueless comparison , other than there both Phillipino with outstanding attributes that make them stand out fighters !!!

it's not an insult comparing to very very good fighters. i'd take it as a compliment for both.

nonito's a good fighter, he's not quite at that level of a Pacquiao or Floyd yet. If he keeps improving he could reach that status.

And the people comparing Amir and Naseem are just being lazy:lol: They look at those 2 and round but Naseem is of Yemeni descent, very unorthodox Southpaw, cannon straight left type fighter while Amir is a very well fundamentally schooled fighter of ****stani descent.

Donaire is a better boxer than pac at this stage of his career.

PAc doesnt have technical skills ang Ring IQ of Donaire or even Floyd.

Donaire is the total package compared to PAc.

we'll see how donaire does against top level opposition as he progresses with his career. people seem to undermine pac too much. ordinary fighters do not achieve what he has throughout his career.

I wonder how some people think Pacquiao is managing to clean out the WW division if he's so lacking in skill. His physical advantages? :nut:nut

They both avoided slick black boxers.
