Kell Brook vs Mike Jones

I'm not impressed by Mike Jones.

I think Brook beats him.

 

It's a fight i'd like to see. As Rico said not overly impressed by Jones.

I think Brook has the ability to beat him. Jones has a bit better seasoning but end of day i just wanna see Brook in a fight. Jennings bout was really disappointing...felt lukewarm.

 

Huge step up for Brook - it really isn't ideal.

Brook could do with a fight to bridge the gap from the Afrobum to Jones.

Maybe somebody like Mallignagi.

Anyway, Soto-Karass is miles better than anyone Brook has faced. However, they were really hyping Jones up on HBO but he's not that special IMO.

I'd still favour Jones in this matchup.

I am talking levels. Look at Brooks best win (not the debacle over Jennings) then look how much better Jones is. This is Kevin Mitchell all over again, but Mitchell had fought better oppo.

I don't think Paulie has much left to be honest, but he'd still be on a different level to anything Kell has fought so far.

 

Berto has Ortiz though? Brook cant be messing about now needs to get in a world title fight sink or swim in my opinion. Its not like Jones is a top end boxer anyway really. if he has real aspirations of being as good as he says he is he should beat Jones.

How anyone can pick Brook is beyond me, his oppoisition has been absolutely dire.

 

Yeah, Berto's fighting Oriz but Arum's being mouthing off and saying it's a crap fight and Berto should fight Jones.

 

Not impressed with Jones, even less so with Brook.

Jones via stoppage at some point.
