Gavin vs Theophane??

not to mention Gavin isnt a full blown welter and Brook is massive at the weight

 

Certainly a fight I would like to see and a fight that would help Gavin along his learning curve towards being a world champion.

 

Very good matchup.

I'd like to see gavin in with cook or daws at the very minimum if it isn't theopane straight away.

I'd favour gavin against anyone in britain right now. He didn't beat lomax with brute strength like brook did, he beat him with skill and speed.

It might be a bit too soon to say definitively but I would put gavin a level above the domestic challengers at present.

Of course i'd like to see him prove it, ideally he takes on daws next for the vacant belt (assuming theopane does vacate) and then challenge theopane for the euro belt (assuming paul vacates and theo picks it up)

Either way I think minimum should put him by the end of the year looking at a european belt and pushing for a title shot.

Just like with degale I think gavin has it in him to be fast tracked against a decent level of opposition. Vs lomax gavin always looked in control and i'd love to see him keep the momentum going.

I know it's tough for frank to risk both his prize assets so quickly but the truth is that these two were the best amatuers around and it's about time they begin to show they're the best pro's around.

 

lol well regards to Brook And Gavin going at it: if they fought tomorrow would be an interesting fight Brook wasnt dealing well with Jennings at all he looked a bit lost couldnt deal with the movement so somebody with the defensive skills of Gavin will bamboozle Kell who i dont rate that highly anyway.

 

Frankie's ring intelligence would make him a favourite over Brook for me.

No he didnt but he was making Brook look really poor and Jennings isnt that kind of spoiler or negative fighter he is just a decent mover so it begs the question a little bit jennings was the first person he faced with a bit of ring nouce and he made him look bad and fairly crude allbeit he was winning the rounds but not impressively or in a comfortable fashion

 

I am a light welter me an brook won't happen for a long time but if opportunities i will fight anyone in Britain I just want i am so much better than the other night It was good but there is more believe me lomax was very weak so could do as I please wait I need someone to make me nervous an worried bout there power then u will see me at my best

 

brook is a counter-puncheratsch when people come to him he looks quality, jennings came to make up the numbers and survive
