Why are people comparing Nonito to Manny pacquiao?

    Premature maybe but people are excited as he just fought and convincingly beat (with some venom too) a live and dangerous opponent unlike Emmanual's bucket list of dead men walking.

    he was supposed to lose to a smart and thinking boxer like barrera. pac did not wrecklessly maul barrera. he ****ing dismantled barrera with accurate powerful punches from different angles. he was overwhelming barrera with crafty shots. not the same shots you see from ordinary brawlers or punchers.

    Why wouldn't you make a comparison between the two.

    Both Pinoys
    Both fought are fighting at the low divisions
    Both very quick
    Both don't have great defence
    Both have a good left
    Both have and will more than likely beat more top mexicans

    Totally agree. The only similarity I can see is the Phillipino thing and the fact that they're both good at boxing.
    Donaire is a very good boxer on his way up. Don't burden him with Pac comparisons.

    Because Nonito fights nothing like emmanuel. THey prefer someone who blocks punches with their face instead of fighting a tactical bout.
