I'm just asking. Everyone on HBO's cast was saying hes the number 2 guy on the list. If anyones number 2 it would be JMM..no?
Lol no, i have him at about 6. If he cleans up his division with Mares, Kameda, Agbeko, or Perez fights he'll rise.
No, but if/when he does become the undisputed bantamweight champ, then he should pass JMM on the list, depending of course what JMM does in his next fight and who he fights next.
Marquez is a veteran champion, Donaire has a lot to do to be able to challenge Marquez's status in the sport as one of the best P4P fighters ever to come out of Mexico....even if he drinks his own **** x_x
No... Nonito needs to fight and defeat more elite fighter in order to move ahead of JMM. He only has Darchinyan and Montiel on his resume.
3. Donaire 4. Martinez 5. JMM 6. W. Klitschko 7. Bradley 8. Ward 9. V. Klitschko 10a. Lopez 10b. Segura
Looked over his resume in detail lately. In addition to his HOF caliber wins over Montiel and his KO and Upset of the Year over Darchinyan, he's got a resume. Sidorenko and Mthalane are very legit wins. Everyone should know this. Martinez and Maldonado are comparable with Sergio's wins over Bunema and Roman. In fact, I find them more impressive.
Longevity and fighting the best year in year out you gotta give the nod to JMM. He deserves it. Donaire keeps beating top fighters in and around 122-126 then ok. You can make an argument for Donaire based on level of competition in the last couple fights are better than JMM but I gotta go with JMM guts, heart at this stage of his career is the difference.
no...great, supppper great victory, but jmm is still above if he stays active though, i can see him up there soon.....like in a year soon
