Typical British/European fighter but reminiscent of Judah?

 

Saunders would be a beast at Welter. I know he's young, but if he'd been dedicated he'd have progressed nicely by now IMO. A real shame.

 

He is with me m8 and will be fighting in the next few months!

Gavin and DeGale are the best two for me.

 

By a country mile probably the 2 best prospects in world boxing tbh

 

Stephen Smith is another one aswell and a fully fit Smith will show it in the rematch against John Simpson.

The thing that separates Gavin and DeGale from everybody else is just how relaxed they are in the ring.

 

Nice too see Jimmy Kelly gettin a mention... He swung at me in the streets and missed but i heard hes a top boxer at Egans.... Nice one Jimmy!

 

Ronnie Heffron gets the nod from me. He's still very young and deserved more credit on Saturday. Perhaps he was a bit over-eager for the ko, maybe cos it was his first live Sky fight and he wanted to impress, but there were a lot of positives as well.

He didn't have much senior ams experience so he needs to learn to box a bit more and that he can't bully tough seasoned men like he did 17 year olds but that'll soon come. Don't forget he's at Arnie's gym and is sparring guys like Gavin and Dean Byrne. If he can add a bit of their skills and elusiveness, combined with what is already a naturally very exciting style, I reckon he'll be a fans fave that goes on to some proper wars at world level.

 

Million dollar is not below a mention IMO

 

Anyone mentioned Anthony Joshua yet?

Stood Fury on his head (by Fury's own admission) during sparring for the second McDermott fight and Fury claims he's the top prospect in British boxing right now.

 

Agree with that. His last 3 performances have all been nothing short of top class, good chin (doesn't get enough credit for that), picked his moments and worked to Joe's plan too perfection. Joe Gallagher is the key to Crollas success for me. Amazing insight into Boxing and with Crollas dedication and skills it will be match for anyone in Europe. and imo Burns in a year or so.

Every1 seems so quick to jump on the Gavin bandwagon on the back of Saturday night, its too easy to do that, for me Frankie is still unproven professionally.......he has fought no1 half decent yet and has not been tested 1 bit, anyone can look good against duck eggs. No 1 can tell me that was a good match up on Saturday, Lomax looked unsteady on his feet let alone throwing punches. He was miles miles milessss out of his depth. Don't get me wrong, Frankie is a great fighter and is defo a top prospect for British boxing but as Frankie said himself, you will see the best Frankie Gavin when some1 brings it out of him. Until then i won't make the judgement on how far he can go.
