    Who wins?

    Excellent match up.

Vitali definatly has the chin, heart and williness to get a match with Tyson. Maybe even give him a hard time.

I know most will say Mike will punch off his face, but as a huge VK fan, I say Vitali has a good chance of getting out the 6 round.

Doh, I meant to put up a poll.:patsch

Vitali has the style and size to beat Tyson. And whats the most important he is really tough. And I am more Tyson fan than Vitali tbh.

Although Tyson is the better fighter overall, Vitali Klitschko may be one of the few men that I'd pick to beat him prime for prime, based on a well rounded combination of physical and stylistic attributes..

Tyson still smokes him. Much better fighter overall. More power skills speed etc. Vitali took Lewis's uppercut, hooks, straight right, and jab flush, so that proves he's got a chin on him. Lewis didn't follow up though. Tyson will be all over him if he gets Vitali hurt which I believe he will. I got Tyson by knockout in the mid rounds. Vitali will have his moments but it won't be enough to overcome Mike.

    no prime for prime...

but this is the most realistic version of their fight if TYSON wouldve knocked out DANNY WILLIAMS in that first round and TYSON woulda faced VITALI instead..

    Fair points,

but the difference between Lennox Lewis and Mike Tyson is that Lennox had the right mechanisms for landing flush on Klitschko, ie, a lengthy wingspan, outside fighting game, etc.. Tyson would have to land by closing a wide ranged gap, and attempt to hit upward.. I think he'd have a difficult time getting very many shots in, and would have to eat a lot of leather in the process.

I think Tyson would connect on Vitali quite a bit. He was faster and more accurate then any version of Lewis. And when he did he would follow up

I agree with this. When Lewis landed those bombs on Vitali your right he did'nt follow them up and i always feel watching that fight that a sharper/younger Lewis would have followed them up, especially the uppercut in the sixth. A prime Tyson would follow anything big he landed up with 4,5 and 6 punch flurries. I don't totally disregard Vitali because he is a tough fight for most, but i just see a peak Tyson either damaging his face early or catching him with something big (good chin or not), or another scenario would be Tyson opening up a lead with his agression and maintaining it similar to the Tucker and Smith fights. One thing i don't feel Vitali has is the pop to deter a prime Tyson for long enough spells in the fight.
My overriding thoughts on these Klitschko v ATGs threads is that too many people have the Klitschko's winning fights against mediocre opposition at the forefront of their minds and seem to think they could do it to every great fighter that ever lived. There has been way better fighters than your Austin's, Sosnowski's, Chambers and Sanders you know.

He may have indeed had faster hands, and was maybe more accurate, but its the stylistic and physical attributes that make me reluctant.

    Faster but not more accurate.

What about the body shots? Remember Lewis digging in with the left hook to Vitali's ribs? I think Tyson would really tea off on Vitali's body.

Yeah I think he was more accurate... Especially more accurate then that version of Lewis...

Maybe that version of Lewis but not a prime Lewis. Lennox even when he was in a tired state in fights one thing he never lost was his accuracy. I'm not saying Mike was'nt accurate, far from it. It's just that one of Lewis' best assets was his punch accuracy.
