I think Pac on Hatton. All were great, but I think the Pac/Hatton was more unexpected. Martinez and Williams, I knew it was a longshot, but Martinez said he was going to come out and go for the KO because he didn't want to leave it to the judges again. Donaire was a heavy favorite and I expected the kncok out. Just not so soon or dramatic. With Pac/Hatton though, Hatton was supposed to be Pacs biggest challenge, fighting at his best weight, much bigger and stronger than what Pac was used to. I really did not expect such an early, dramatic knock out. The punch was a career ender for Hatton.
I ask this every day since saturday night. Specifically these 3. For me it is martinez - willams by quite a while. Pac over hatton is a bit dampened by his dominance in round 1. Donaire - montiel is slightly dampened because he got back up and donaire caught him the first time he threw it. I know donaire planned it, but it was developed throughout the fight, not prefight. More of a capitalisation than a plan. With martinez you can see the intent, he threw the left hook a lot in that fight, it was his gameplan. He predicted it pre-fight. And williams looked not just sparked but dead. It was brutal.
might have to go with martinez knockin out williams. pacquiao's was nice. but after williams got knocked out i think that de-mystified his whole aura. i dont think people will fear him as much as before.
emmanuel's KO didn't have the unexpected factor that Martinez and Nonito have especially the Martinez one, that was BAM wtf!
quality of the fight for two rounds: 1. pac-hatton 2. nonito-montiel 3. sergio-williams just the ko: dead even for the three. all great ko's
Pac-Hatton Martinez-Williams Donaire-Montiel Ricky I think has not fully recovered yet from the brutal KO he received from Pacquiao and he went into some depression stages just because of that punch. Sad realities of our sport.
martinez-PW knockout because PW was never KO'ed. There was so much hype of PW that having that bubble burst was icing on the cake. Pac-Hatton (2nd)- Pac was eating Hatton up in the 1st round and Hatton was previously KO'ed and was on the brink of getting KO'ed against Collazo. Nonito Donaire vs Montiel is last because fire works were expected and the KO was a very possible and likely outcome.
