    They weren't a serious band. Dad-Rock.

    Led Zep, Sabbath, Slade, Deep Purple, The Eagles and Kansas were faaaaaaaaaar superior. KISS are good for a laugh.
    Shitali is just horribly overrated and crap.

    I'll just say this and then leave it at that. Saoul Mamby was my Jimmy Young. A crafty, skillful, wily veteran. Loved the guy. But the difference is, I'm not trying to make him more than he was. I'm not claiming he would take Duran (he didn't) or Leonard (he couldn't). I keep it in perspective. When I think of Jimmy Young, I think of guys like Mamby, Harold Brazier, Freddie Pendleton, Yaqui Lopez.
    I like Jimmy Young. But sorry, he was NOT a great fighter. A prime Joe Frazier would have run Jimmy Young out of the ring.

    Frazier in a dominant landslide Young looked ok against slow ,ponderous one at a time punchers,a busy, constantly coming ,saturation puncher gives him hell.Frazier has nothing to fear in Young's punches ,and so he can attack with impunity,this is a terrible matchup for King Of The Bore Snores Young,late stoppage or easy dec for Frazier.

    Some people simply did n't get the Jimmy Young thing. One group saw a negative cautious style,while the more knowlegeable of us saw profound skill.

    Nobody's running Jimmy Young out of the ring! Although, I do agree this is Jimmy's worst type of opponent, a very busy guy who's fast and can punch. But Joe will tire after missing more punches than he ever did and being countered all night , and not with pitypat punches like some of you think, why do you think ali's face was all busted up. I think Jimmy could take Joe, not a sure thing at all, but don't think it couldn't happen.

    Jimmy Young robbed himself of possible victory in several fights because he did not want it enough.The blame rests with him, not the judges.
