I'm predicting right now that these two fighters will never fight. Rigondeux will duck Donaire.

But if this fight is ever made, it would be as big as Mayweather and Pacquiao. And I'm going to go on record and predict that despite Rigondeux's hype and skills, he would be knocked out similar to how Montiel was knocked out.

Donaire is ATG special talent. Rigondeux is certainly good, but he might never be an ATG.

Rigo is way too passive to ever be an elite fighter. Agbeko etc. would destroy him.

Rigondeux will run inside the ring like a headless chicken.

Rigondeux will never get past Donaire and will never be an ATG because he wont beat Donaire. I suppose he could move up in weight and try to beat guys like Alexander and Bradley but he would get beat by them too so who is he supposed to beat in order to be great at 30?

This fight won't equal 1/10th the fight Mayweather Pacquiao would be.

Unless Rigondeaux is impressive offensively in his next fight, he will lose his marketability. Great fight if it gets made.

I've only seen Rigondeaux in his last fight and he was more interested in posing and looking good than actually fighting. He needs to pick up his offense to be a hit. In saying that, he will lose to Donaire, but I think it will be a boring fight.

LOL why doesnt somebody just makes a thread about all the fighters between 118 to 130pounds that dont stand a chance against donaire. Ridiculous how people are quick to overrate a fighter after a big win.

Of the two fighter's history - Rigo 2-time Gold Medallist abd pro champ in 7 fights, Donaire facing no one of note for years after Darchinyan - I think Donaire will duck Rigo before the Cuban will shy away from such a fight. Cubans duck no one.

an idiot of a poster. i know you are exaggerating like most idiots do but can you back up your claim that pinoys only produce champion every 20 years and has 15 million active boxers?

  14. Rigondeaux has seen every style of fighter there is in his amateur career theres nothing he cant deal with he is extremley skillfull I feel he will outpoint Donaire and win a decision
