    110-5

Had he stayed in the amateur game as long as Rigo he'd be as accomplished as him.

He's a carbon copy of Hopkins and capable of succeeding similarly. It'd help if he had a little bit more power in his fists but his skill set is top-notch and his resume impressive for a 26yo.

    - Miranda
    - Bika
    - Kessler
    - Green
    - Abraham soon to follow
    - Froch?
    - Bute?

Ward is talented no doubt, just painful to watch. Before I crown him 'the second coming' I still want to see him against more top guys. He beat Kessler, that's one, now we gotta see what he does with Froch n hopefully Bute. If he beats them then yes he deserves all the hype and respect. One thing i can't stand about him is his 'creationism' bullsh*t. I'm an atheist, please don't tell me that god wants you to beat the sh*t out of your opponent and win for him. Its the crusades all over again lol...

Very few things regarding andre ward impress me. I've still not bought into his hype yet, but that is special. But surely a record like that would have meant he won the world amateur tournament as well?

  5. is that where he won his gold medal? :patsch

Get out of here with that nonsesne. He won a gold medal SEVEN years ago and is a professional now. Like Bigfoot sightings, sightings of him outside of the East Bay are rare.

Its not as impressive as you think or would like to believe

    - Miranda, beaten by limited Abraham, KOd by Pavlik and KOd by Abraham, KOd by Bute. Miranda is no more than a gate keeper that took Ward the distance

    - Bika, beaten by Soliman, but later beaten by Calzaghe and Bute

    - Kessler, beaten by Calzaghe and was an unwell fighter suffering double vision where Ward was allowed to hold and headbutt

    - Green, Beaten by Miranda and KOd by 14 losses 2 draws Johnson.

Ward had been given a blueprint on how to beat all of these fighters, Miranda, Bika and Green arent that great and had been beaten more convincingly.
Kessler is Wards only big win where Ward used illegal holding and headbutts, and Kessler was an unwell fighter suffering double vision, who was exposed by Calzaghe and was never the same after.

    - Abraham soon to follow, - Big deal Abrahams coming off of 2 clear defeats, and an odd victory where the other fighter hurt his hand, so thats no big win

WARD, is the Truth. FYI, 80%of his fights have been outside Oakland!

Do you pick apart Froch's resume in such cynical fashion?

I can never be a fan of that holding, wrestling, grappling, headbutting, elbowing, boring ass style of his. He's like a mix between Bernard Hopkins and Ricky Hatton with none of the credentials.
