Before Povetkin fight Oruh lost previos 2 fights and was retired from boxing for more than two years, he also came for the fight at career highest weight. And still he was able to gave fight to Povetkin and it was closer than on highlights. Do you really believe that prime Tyson would struggle with Oruh?
Solis is WAY out of shape, and this is not even close. Povetkin stops him late. And even if Solis comes in GREAT shape, he wouldn't beat Pov.
That's another good matchup that isn't happening................:-( It would be a close call but I might slightly favor Solis if he shows up in shape. If he's fat I'd be very sure to put money on Povetkin.
:nono Although Povetkin is the better, more rounded boxer, I'd still favor an in shape Solis due to the power differential. Both have good combos & both haven't really had their chins checked...................
Solis to me seems like one of those athletic fat guys who can perform well despite a few extra pounds. However Povetkin has excellent conditioning so I can see a close fight until the late rounds when Povetkin would tip the scales of the decision or get a stoppage.
Oh god... Haye beats up a cardboard cutout of the MIA Povetkin, takes 8 months off and talks retirement.
