Would Mike Tyson knock down Chuvalo? He has never been knocked down in 93 fights. Ali,Foreman,Frazier could not so could Tyson?

Foreman beat the crap out of him and got him with some really nasty body shots. I think its a matter of can Tyson drop him before the ref or corner stops it. He will probably have more luck if he goes to the body rather than the head, like how Tito put down Mayorga, hit him all night in the head and finally took him out with a body shot.

  3. u have to wonder,
if tyson's left hook was any harder then coopers.
tyson stopped many durable men in his "time",
but Cooper stopped Cassius clay, and other durable contenders.
    Tyson,
    would swarm chuvalo,
with things he neva saw b4.
    Tyson by tko.

I suspect he would, yes. Chuvalo was granite but Tyson at his best hit way too hard and too often with both hands, something Chuvalo never had to deal with.

Cassius Clay was never stopped. Angelo Dundee made sure of that! Nobody can say what would have happend - Ali had a whole 60 seconds to recover and knowing Ali he would have done! IMO.

Hard to say if Tyson would've stopped or dropped Chivalo - all we can do is speculate. But if anyone had a granite chin then George did! Others survived Tyson for 12 rounds...so why not Chivalo?

Who knows? Tyson had a great mix of speed and power and could score a KD if he hits Chuvalo with the right shot, especially if it's something George can't see coming.

It's never that predictable with boxing.

Ray Mercer took bombs from Lennox Lewis and didn't drop. Same thing when he faced Tommy Morrison. But Evander Holyfield, not as hard a puncher than either Lennox or Tommy, hurt Mercer with a left hook to the head and Mercer reeled back and took a knee. Esteban Dejesus dropped Roberto Duran twice with left hooks to the head...Ray Leonard and Iran Barkley hit him with hard left hooks (Barkley's was a bomb) and Duran didn't drop.

  7. no i think the ref would stop it first before hed go down foreman punched the **** out of him and he didnt go down if you dont go down from that nothing will put you down

  8. yes u r right. technically speaking he was Neva stopped. instead clay smelled smelling salts and made exuses in the corner to survive.
quite pathetic tht the **** wud do that.
    Cooper won the fight

Cooper was a bum who got his clock cleaned by pre prime Bugner.

  10. completely wrong. Cooper is 1 man who beat bugner by far , despite being at 1 advanced age.

    Watch most Cooper.

Yep, he was the sole reason British HW's got laughed at for being horizontal.

Yeah he caught a 21 year old Ali cold, big ****ing deal. He couldn't close the show and got hammered for his cheek in the very next round. Average fighter at best.

  13. talk with respect,
    1 ****nugget.
he was elite fighter and he won first clay fight

Prime Tyson's left hook could stop a speeding locomotive dead in its tracks.

So yes, Chuvalo wouldn't be a problem.

This may have been the fight George touched the canvas.

If not, a TKO in 7.
