Pavlik. To be honest, Martinez's resume is quite thin, and he only has the Pavlik and Williams win that got him into the P4P list. Before the first Williams fight, Martinez was unranked P4P but Williams was highly rated (#3 by the Ring) and as a result of their first fight, he got into the P4P list.

Yes, probably Pavlik, but his wins over a solid fighter like Cintron who had beaten Angulo and especially Williams does it for me. As flawed as Williams seems to be, no one but Martinez was able to not only beat him, but brutally knock him out. It's easy to say Manny and Floyd would beat Williams, but I'm sure they wouldn't knock him out. And I really don't think he would get dominated either by Floyd or Pacman.

    My thoughts exactly. :deal

And this is exactly why I want Manny Pacquiao to risk immortal greatness and take a fight with Martinez all the way up at 154lbs.

Interesting question. I would have to say the Sergei is probably the most technically proficient fighter he will have faced to this point. Pavlik is more one dimentional and kind of a plodder. Cintron is decent, but he lacks the discipline to be called proficient. Strangely enough, even though he clearly lost to Martinez he showed that he has the ability to box smart in the last 4 rounds.

even Dz is pretty technically basic. What he does, he does well... but don't expect him to go outside of his box

Yes that is why I went with Cintron rather than Kelly.

It COULD turn out that this upcoming fight is the real test for both fighters here. I'm anxious to see it.
