How is the "Pioneer" monkier still sticking? What has he done to lead the way in Australia boxing besides create controversy and pick up some "Intrim" titles along the way?
"The Pioneer" is more of a testament to pioneering failure than creating a new path to success. In his nonsensical rant prior to the Medley fight he demanded to be know as "The Pioneer" because of winning belts in decsendibg wieght classes. Very few were fooled by his statement and the moniker is now a tag line for "Epic Fail"....oh the irony.
Yep... he's a pioneer whose efforts are akin to Chapelle Corby's pioneering efforts to introduce herbal Boogie Boards to Bali.
What about his rant some Years back when he said he would be more recognised than Aussie legends Don Bradman and Walter Lindrum for his sporting deeds,the amazing thing is a small minority continued to swallow this **** and jump on His propaganda train,what were these people thinking.!!!
To be fair I dont think any of Mundines fans agree with this.....if he beat Ottke, Kessler, Calslappy and Pavlik and retired 50 - 0 then he may be able to slip into 1 of the Dons shoes.
