I agree that it seems a bit odd with Conte's history, although I find it funny that PAC gets a lot more heat about Ariza simply b/c he's doing well. Ward and now Nonito who utilize Conte's expertise don't get any flack, nor should they but I call a spade a spade. PAC has a lot of haters who have run with Floyd's excuse to avoid facing Manny. Conte is good at what he does...he did his time and I don't think he should be black balled.

*Ur naive not to question the outcome after having seen Donair with a machine that mimics blood-doping on his face and Conti's in the room. I used to believe... but all these GREATatheletes that have come out guilty have made me a skeptic. :admin

Conte knows his stuff, and also that he's tightly monitored. Good job with donaire!

Conte did make a mockery of the olympics and pro sports, but I guess that means nothing to his current clients. Everyone is looking for an advantage.

Conte's been making undetectable steroids for decades. Of course Nonito would be confident he'd pass any tests regardless if he were using illegal PEDs or not. I really like Donaire but I can't fathom any legitimate reason to have Victor Conte anywhere near you as a professional athlete. There are a myriad of trainers who can do what Conte is supposed to be doing for Donaire, without the BALCO stigma.

Victor Conte spent time in jail for supplying athletes with illegal substances.......

......whats baffling to me is why this guys is even allowed to work with athletes, especially in supplying them with any kind of substance, legal or not, that would enhance their performance.

In boxing of course, the boxer is his own boss, their are too many commisions and alphabet groups to tell fighters who and who not to associate with......

Does anyone know whether Conte still works with other athletes besides fighters?????

I could'nt imagine any of the other sports football, baseball, basketball, soccer, etc.....allowing their athletes to associate themselves with Conte.

I'd be suprised to find out if Conte worked with athletes that are part of leagues or associations.

Should Herbie Hancock and all members of Tower Of Power and Herb's Monster Band be also held suspicious for associating with Conte? :think
