Hep-hep....Hooray!!!! :happy:happy:happy http://www.examiner.com/boxing-in-n...cquiao-s-iconic-rise-must-be-tough-to-stomach
Are you proving you can count without taking your shoes and socks off or something??? Dreadful journalism by the examiner by the way. People died in Christchurch.
Ever since Floyd left Arum he's become a part-time fighter. He left Top Rank to be free to hand pick his own fights, knowing Arum wanted him to fight Cotto and Margo. Say what you want about promoters like Arum, it is best for the sport that they are around and making fights. Compare Oscar and Floyd's resumes with Arum, with their resumes post-Arum. Tell me their resumes weren't better with Arum.
Mayweather just thinks he can take time out as often as he likes and for as long as he likes but then always win every fight he goes into, its worked so far, but one day he is gonna meet a fighter he needs to prepare for more. hopefully its gonna be Pac
I know Arum wanted him to fight Margarito (that's why they split) but was Cotto even on the radar then? I'm pretty sure he was still campaigning at 140 at the time. As for Margarito, Arum may have felt he was a legitimate challenge and could drag a decent fight out of Floyd - but outside of message-board-level diehard fans, did anyone even know who he was? His best wins when that offer came through for Floyd to fight him were like Lujan and Cintron (Martinez wouldn't really become a great win in retrospect until Martinez made a name for himself - and even then, it was a different Martinez). I don't think Floyd necessarily made a bad business decision passing on Bob's offer to fight Tony and instead opting to win the lineal championship from Baldomir. In terms of risk/reward that was actually a brilliant move on his part.
Mayweather always comes in prepared, no matter who the opponent. :huh He's in tip top shape during his layoffs. Besides, you really think he wouldn't train his ass off for Pacquiao?
one day that boys gonna get caught out tho lol, and if he knows hes so mint, why wont he bite his pride and fight Manny?
