We all have our favourite past or current fighters, and getting a signed pic once in a while is something we don't seem to grow tired of.

What little treasures do you keep as a momento from a classic fight, or what item have you held onto over the years??

Had my heart set on a pair of those signed Adam Forsyth gloves - in fact I posted the $500 late last year like Kronk asked - and I'm still waiting for them.

...perhaps they got caught up in the Christmas mail and I'll get them soon?

Kronky assured me they'd be a great investment.

No disrespect to Adam. But if Stiffy's already got a pair, who could I hope to sell them to and turn over the great profit Kronky said I could make?

I have always been a big sports fan myself but I have no desire to own any sports memorabilia from any sports star. I wouldn't pay a cent for a signed Ali glove or a Bradman bat. Just doesn't interest me.

I've got a signed set of gloves - one glove has Fenech and Lewis, the other has Kostya and Lewis.

Geez I've had them for at least 15yrs now. Getting old!

Memorabilia became very fashionable and then so fashionable and common it wasn't collectable any more. A good example being the crap cricket items Channel 9 are always flogging, and they've gone bloody mad on Collingwood premiers 2010 stuff.

I've got a few nice pieces from other sports eg cricket & football. In fact some years back I sold the football cards I collected as a kid for big $hundreds, and haven't missed them at all.

Must collect a bit of boxing stuff. I know where there's a nice signed pair of Barry Michael gloves - but the restuarant might not appreciate them going missing.

Still got a limited edition, signed Bradman print that's worth a few bob.

When Gullermo Mosquera came over to fight Sam Columban he had a dummy in his mouth all the time he was here including going into the ring and getting out of the ring
Apperantly it was his new born son's
I got that dummy off him

Nice. That's a personal momento. It's little things like that which are worth keeping, even if no one understands the importance.

Give it to Ty, he'll be able to 'spit' it that far.

    Save the postage.

Had Rocky Berg's autographed gloves, when he fought Lester for WBF title. Some ******* broke into my joint during the night, while I was at work & pinched them.
Gawd I was pissed off.....TV, Washing Machine, Fridge, 100 year-old fruit bowl on dining table OK......but not farkin Rocky's gloves
