Whether you love Pac or hate him - will ANYONE EVER do what he's done again (fw-lmw)?

people can criticize manny pacquiao forever for whatever they want,

but when the history books are written,

we have a man who won a flyweight world title in 1998 by beating an excellent flyweight, chatchai sasakul...

...and then won a welterweight world title in 2009 by beating an excellent welterweight, miguel cotto.

    these are facts.

will anyone else in history ever do something like this again???

what you think, yes it's possible or no it will remain unique?

Possibly. Records are made to be broken... we just dont know when, cause i cant see another fighter duplicating it soon.

Of course it possible as long as you can carry your punch. But you will need special supplements for that.

The closest guy to win as many division as PAC is Dela Hoya(6) and we all know Dela Hoya didn't deserved that win. Everybody know he lost that fight.

The conditions were there for him to do it. For another fighter to do the same he has to be lucky enough that when he goes up in weight there's no talent there. Since he beat marquez at 130 he hasnt beaten anybody worth mentioning. The titles he won at 135-140 and 147 are just paper titles. He beat names at those weights not the best at those weights. The 154 world title is a bogus title also fighting at 150 against a guy that needed to cheat to get where he was.

I'm not a pac hater i like him a lot but we have to learn to put things in perspective and stop overreacting all the time.

    :hat

Pacquiao has quite a resume, comparable to the top 10 ATG's. Feel free to break it down and criticize it, but to be fair, you must do the same for every one of the fighters below he is being compared to. Haters often criticize Pac's resume and don't even bother doing a cross-comparison with a past ATG, and just assumes that fighter fought every fight against prime opponents with no clauses. Ridiculous really.

I rarely don't agree with you, but I agree with this.

Pac was fortunate enough to make a name fighting HOFers who were literally at the twilight of their careers.

Since the near disaster vs JMM...Pac's career has been carefully orchestrated as Max Kellerman put it.

But really, at 135, he didn't fight the champion, he fought for a title against a guy who arguably lost to a shot Morales!

At 140 he picked up another title against another fighter completely out of his prime.

At 147 he picked up a title against a fighter who had been previously brutalized and not the same fighter.

And at 154..what else is there to say other than...meh..:verysad
