C'mon,,,,,,,,,,Muhammad Ali never fought tough undefeated young guys.

    Scott Frank
    Renaldo Snipes
    Ossie Ocassio
    Tim Witherspoon
    Carl Williams
    Michael Spinks
    David Bey
    Gerry Cooney
    Ray Mercer

Larry Holmes streak is an amazing run,,,,,,,,possibly the greatest in heavyweight history.

i actually quite like that holmes ruined prospects, they're a different kind of opponent, there's a different kind of pressure.

a few things, though, mercer wasn't part of the unbeaten run. and ali may have had the 'help' of the three plus year lay-off, but some would argue that lay-off was actually to his detriment (yes, even in terms of the length of his unbeaten streak). sure, he got three years for free, but he lost momentum and physical attributes. maybe he would have faded slower, and therefore stayed unbeaten longer had he been active for those three years?

not saying i believe that, just saying it's another way of looking at it. also, i really like holmes' run, and i know it wasn't his fault that he didn't unify the belts, but it's easier to defend one belt than the unified title.

Little Henry Cooper was out-weighed by 22+ pounds, versus Cassius Clay.
Some even say he was nothing more than a big Light Heavyweight.

    1961
Zora Folley, after depositing Ol 'Enry on the canvas and stopping him
in the 2nd Round, said, 'if Henry was fighting in America, he would be regarded
    as a Fringe-contender, not a Top-contender'.
'After I win the title, I would give him a Title shot if he could knock off a couple
of Top American fighters, like Eddie or Cleveland.

George Chuvalo was on a 'Batman' TV show.

He portrayed the 'evil washerwoman', as he would steal peoples laundry off
    their clothes line.
He drove a Maytag repairmans truck, and impersonated a repairman.

Muhammad Ali was asked to appear as a guest on the TV show, but he
would not ride on the Bat Cycle with Yvonne Craig, a black-white issue.

Judge Awards Sonji Clay $350 weekly From Hubby

After walking into a Florida court, Sonji Clay exited $350 richer.
Telling the judge she would prefer a reconciliation with her estranged
boxer husband Muhammad Ali, instead of weekly $1000 temporary alimony payments,
that she needs for hotel bills, beauty shops, cosmetics, clothing, car rental
    and 'wig repair'.

Circuit Court Judge, Harold Spaet thought the request was a bit 'too ****ing high'.
Although Sonji claims her husband, Muhammad Ali made more than $300,000 last year,
she was only awarded $350 per week, plus $2500 in lawyers fees.

Ali, earlier initiated a suit to annul his 11-month marriage, because Sonji refused to
    become a full-fledged Muslim.
In reaffirming her love to her husband, Sonji insists, 'I want to live with my husband.
Wherever he is, I go. He won't see me, and leaves, but I follow'.

Muhammad Ali's lawyer, Edward Jocko Jr. insists his client has no money, only
around $5000 in the bank, and no other funds because of promotion problems and
lawsuits in Chicago. He said the champion has a net worth of $100,000.

Jet has confirmed from reliable sources, that the champ is in the process of purchasing
a $100,000 Hotel in Miami, called the St. John, and will be converting it into a
    Muslim Center.

It appears that Ms. Sonji Roi was quite talented.
She was an aspiring singer, and had several good offers
    for recording some good songs.

Of course, she was not permitted to over-shadow her husband,
and was not allowed to wear make-up or mod dresses.

    'The Adventures of Buck White'

Damn, Cassius could have been a crime fighter on NBC-TV back in the mid-60's.

Kenny on the other hand,,,,,,,,could have starred in 'Behind the Green Door'
