Ali the man who stopped liston twice, only man to stop foreman and stopped frazier, first man to ko bonavera etc. Ali has underrated power.

I always thought this aswell, I think he's speed is what made many people underrate his power.

Both have floored/stopped very durable men, although neither were recognized as power punchers. I say Holyfield. He put more into his punches then Ali

I would say Ali , his speed carried way more power than it looked, one of those fighters whose punches were more crisp than devasting.

Holyfield had very respectable power at heavy, but I go with Ali just.

    Ali.

I think their power is comparable, though. You gotta consider that Holyfield got his power from sitting down on and torquing into all of his shots completely--Ali would be on the move and still hurting guys. This is why I think Ali the more powerful puncher.

    Ali.

Bonavena and Foreman both had iron chins and Ali managed to stop them. He had very respectable power, which combined with the speed and accuracy of his punches, gives him the edge over Holyfield.

I'll also give Ali extra points because he wasn't on steroids.

If you count his headbutts, then Holyfield hits harder.

Foreman said they hit about the same, but Ali hits you with punches you don't see, and he hits you cleaner.

    Holyfield, maybe.

That left hook that lifted and dropped Savarese was amazing.
