I think Foreman took Holyfield's punches better as he was a stronger bigger man then he was in 74'. He also paced himself more. I think he could take a shot better if he wasn't tired

yeah but Foreman wasn't really tired like he was against Ali. Ali knocked him out because George expended all of his energy carelessly. He didn't do that against holy

That's overly simplified. And not necessarily valid. You would need to take into account density, surface area of impact, rate of acceleration, among other thing to try and quantify punching power. Then there is technique, how much of a persons mass do they put behind a punch? There's just a whole bunch of stuff to account for in attempting to quantify a punch.

Probably Ali, but he was a natural heavyweight with a fantastic technique.

  8. U wud have to give Holy the edge ,

Clay did not crack 1 egg with 1 uppercut , Holy, cracks eggs 100% all time .

Clay cud not floor a midget like Frazier, or other jokes .

    Holy 100% punched harder.

Gonna go with Ali based on the second Liston fight, which admittedly could have been thrown by Liston, but if it wasn't, then that was one shot knock out power.

And whoever said it's because he KO'd Foreman isn't making a valid point. Foreman basically KO'd himself from exhaustion, Ali's power certainly didn't do it.

It's a pretty close call, either way.

I don't know who had more "raw power", but Holyfield was more likely to do serious damage with a single shot. His left hook hurt the iron-chinned Mercer and made him reel back and take a knee. He had Bowe very close to out in the third bout with one left hook.

Holyfield put more onto his shots though, than Ali usually did.
