It definately wasn't before he moved up to fight Oscar. De La Hoya, and Hatton & Cotto for that matter, were supposed to destroy him. DLH win aroused suspicion, after the Hatton and Cotto fights it was confirmed he was godly, and these fights were then seen as cherry picks.

I heard (dont know if its true though I believe it) that everytime he wins a world championship distant galaxies move around, ever so slightly. Also, the 2 guys who knocked him out when he was a teenager have been found to have high levels of 'evil' in their blood. Thats a fact.:deal
