Kell Brook offered fights with Cotto and Bundrage

That’s a pretty accurate assessment. Brook’s no boxer. He’s got fast hands but he couldn’t even figure out Jennings’ rudimentary movement. Cotto, however, is an excellent boxer – much more than a simple pressure fighter. He can move, has got quick hands himself and can fight in a number of ways.

What’s Brook going to bring that he hasn’t dealt with before?

Cotto would take a round to adjust to the speed and then he’d take away all of Brook’s weapons one by one.

if you move give him angles use a jab and punch in numbers he is pretty ordinary. however if you want to oblige him by standing in front of him, which brook would probably do, he will work you over

 

Clottey is far superior and far more proven than Brook. Cotto mostly struggled with him because he had most of his eye hanging open from the third round on or so.

Cotto has never struggled with a guy like Brook, even in his amateur days. To beat Cotto you need to be able to pressure him consistently. Brook isn’t that sort of fighter.

 

i think people in here are unfair on brook and underrate him because of how he has been managed, imo he is going to be something special. i'll leave it at that

 

Cotto will unravel down the stretch if you put a lot of pressure on him.

From what we've seen, Brook looks fast and accurate: but who has he been fighting.

Brook doesn't appear very smart, powerful or formidable IMO. Leaving his chin in the air is a very, very worrying trait indeed.

Matthew Hatton would outwork him IMO. Watson would make him look utterly foolish. For some reason fWank thinks Brook is above all this, like Mitchell when he eventually steps it up he will get clattered.

I wouldnt fancy anybody domestically at 147 against him atm.

Of all the emerging talents he is my favourite & he gets a lot of hate on here but he's still unproven.

This year Kell will answer a lot of questions about his career, 1 way or another.

 

you can only judge a fighter on the last good fighter he beat in this case its jennings i did not see anything in that fight which would indicate to me kell brook is world class, jennings at times was starting to have success against him i think craig warson would give him a tough fight
