What we keep overlooking in the Valero tragedy

    Hindsight is always 20/20.

The Valero story is a tragedy, but it’s my feeling people havn’t recognised the vital problem underlying it , and because of it these tragedies will keep happening.

The fact is few people could have resolved this crisis even if it was properly identified at the time.

Addictions exist because the person craves a substance he doesn’t find in his food.
Boxers are especially put at risk of addictions because eating little is a condition of their trade.

You treat addictions with food therapies (look for the Gerson treatment) not with pharmaceutical drugs. You can use too megadoses of vitamins (niacin comes to mind).
These things have been discovered by scientists in the last 50 years and published, but are being actively supressed by modern medecine.

Even if Valero had been forced to enter rehab, they couldn’t have helped him because nutrition isn’t taught in medical schools. Instead they would have sedated him with pharma drugs putting defacto an end to his career.

How is a boxer supposed to resolve his addiction problem when even doctors don’t have a clue how to cure it ?

As long as medecine is run by a gang of murderers, sportifs will be forced to take charge of their own health if they want to be successful.

Nutrients do not cure addictions. Its all mental & as a boxer you should have more discipline than most

That's the simple answer, but as i said, the problem runs much deeper.

Wow.... And just when I thought ESB couldn't get any dumber. If you think megadoses of vitamins helps anything you too know **** all about nutrition. And you obviously know less than nothing about psychology and neuroscience. Dumb****.

Valero was always going to kill that poor woman, and you can't blame it on previous head injuries or drugs. I know people who have had just as serious head injuries, they can lead near enough normal lives. The head injury mixed with the drugs is an excuse.

    William Griffith Wilson,
co-founder of Alcoholics Anonymous, used niacin (vitamin B3) to help fight alcohol cravings.

Hey dumb****, you have just as many problems from too many vitamins as not enough. If I give someone a shitload of vitamins and they become sick, if I then take away those vitamins can I claim that not having the said vitamin cures health problems? Because by your ******ed unscientific logic I can. Honestly, you are either really young or really stupid.

Yeah man it's all a big conspiracy.. All those writers of nutrition books are in bed with the pharmaceutical companies. You can't have too many vitamins, the upper limits are just pulled out of thin air, nobody has ever had a reaction from large doses of vitamins. Seriously, you are thick as ****.

anybody know if valeros body or brain was donated to science? it seems like the disease plaguing many american football players that leads them to make unrational decisions and act out is Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy, but it can only be diagnosed by examining the brain after death, would be interesting to know if he suffered from it.

    It's a big conspiracy indeed.

FARMER GIVEN UP FOR DEAD BY HOSPITAL AFTER GETTING SWINE FLU SAVED BY INTRAVENOUS VITAMIN C (July 2009 )

A New Zealand dairy farmer who caught swine flu and very nearly died was saved after his family insisted that he be treated with intravenous vitamin C.

Believing there ws no hope, medical staff were about to take the farmer off the life support systems. But his three sons insisted the doctors try high doses of Vitamin C, and

The farmer made a rapid recovery, improving within just two days of treatment with the vitamin C infusions – costing only about 30 dollars –, and is now back working on his farm, reports New Zealand TV “60 Minutes”.

That's of course because they would have to admit modern medecine has suppressed the fact Vit C in high doses (by IV) has been proven to cure any known virus to man more than 50 years ago.

Hepatitis, polyo, viral pneumonia, ... you name it.

How do you reckon the guy's own sons knew how to save their father but the Hospital didn't ?
