agree with the consensus. hopkins and mayweather. I think maybe Ward but too early to tell.
    I think Mayweather number one.

So many fights he struggled the 1st half of a fight and adjusted accordingly. Hatton, Judah, Mosley, De La Hoyah.

that shot donaire landed was tremendous, i mean to roll off a right and land a counter left hook - takes balls and amazing timing. a wrong move by a centimetre and its him that ends up with a right to the jaw.the hardest shot in boxing, i ve only seen hopkins pull it off that well , and floyd- and he goes to the body and dosent land with that much conviction as he s more defensive.

great shot by a great fighter. floyd is probably the smartest- but that also means he s probably the safest- so being smart isnt necessarily a great thing- maybe thinking in the ring is overrated and its good to sometimes be balls to the wall wild and ****ing warrior.

Hopkins, Marquez and Mayweather are the elite in this category.

A number of categories would include Froch high on most peoples lists...ring IQ is not one of those categories.

The Donaire hype will pass soon. Just because he claims he sees things no-one else can, doesn't make him the best at it. I could claim, 'I have stepped on the moon'...does that make it true?

How is it that there has been no mention of Calderon? He is right there with Floyd and B-Hop in terms of ring intellegence.

Seriously putting Donarie ahead of PBF?? WTF

Anyways B. Hop/ Floyd has the #1 spot locked down.

I don't think hes has smart as B. Hop and Floyd. I just think he has damn good ring GENERALSHIP and beautiful footwork, but I'm not sure he tops Floyd/B. Hop.
