I wish I was around at the time of those guys. Real warriors. Not quite sure why, but Puerto Rico is easily my favourite boxing nation. So many of my favourite fighters are from there, and I have a lot of favourite fighters.

No worries man. I have huge respect for Puerto Rico, such a small nation yet able to produce so many great fighters. I hope to get over there for a fight someday, maybe Juanma or Vazquez Jr.

I think it depends on the fighters the country has produced already for them to start having success. Obviously a lot of Fillipino's are getting into boxing because of Pacquiao's success, and a lot of Argentinian's because of Monzon. I think those two will really grow into strong boxing countries, and might rival Puerto Rico and Mexico in a few years.

 

I hope so. Filipions are already starting a Phil/Mex rivarly. I hope they start a Phil/PR rivarly. That would be awesome and good for the sport.

My dream to go to NYC on the day before or after the PR Parade and watch a Cotto fight. That awesome is insane...so I hear.
